Seasonal boiler and furnace maintenance with safety, ignition, leak and system operation checks to help identify developing problems.

Heating Maintenance by Wildcat Plumbing

What’s included with heating maintenance

  • Safety inspections
  • Burner and ignition system checks
  • Checks for leaks
  • Boiler circulation or furnace airflow checks

How the visit goes

  1. 1. Real arrival window. You get a call before we roll up, not a vague all-day promise.
  2. 2. Diagnose and show you. Photos, camera footage or the failed part in hand so nothing is a mystery.
  3. 3. Price before work. Options explained, written up, approved by you.
  4. 4. Clean finish. Floors protected, area cleaned, permits handled when required.

Seasonal care for your boiler or furnace

Heating maintenance is a planned visit, not a substitute for repairing a system that already has a fault. Scheduling before the coldest weather gives you time to address findings and ask questions about performance, noise or uneven temperatures.

The right maintenance scope depends on the manufacturer, equipment type and service history. Let us know when the system was last serviced and whether you have noticed leaks, longer run times or rooms that do not warm up as expected.

What the maintenance visit checks

The visit includes safety inspections, burner and ignition system checks, checks for leaks and an assessment of system operation. For furnaces, blower and airflow checks are also relevant; for boilers, circulation, pressure and heating controls need attention.

Your technician looks for visible wear and developing problems and explains anything that needs further diagnosis or repair. Maintenance cannot guarantee that a system will never break down, but it can help you understand its condition and plan the next steps.

Keep routine maintenance separate from repairs

If inspection reveals a failed part, leak or safety concern, we explain the recommended work and price before proceeding. A maintenance appointment does not mean unapproved repairs or a replacement installation are automatically included.

Heating Maintenance questions

  • Annual service is a common starting point. Follow your equipment manufacturer's guidance and discuss the right schedule for your system's age, condition and usage with your technician.

"We made an emergency call to Wildcat plumbing on a Saturday due to a water-main leak. They did not force me to go through an AI representative or a litany of steps before I could speak to an actual person. That's the first great thing about Wildcat Plumbing."
